RESOCONTO RIUNIONE NAZIONALE LAV. COOP. SOCIALI E DEL TERZO SETTORE
Il 25 Giugno si è svolta a Roma la riunione nazionale di lavoratrici e lavoratori di cooperative sociali e del terzo settore, erano presenti le realtà di Roma, Cassino (Fr), Udine e Torre Annunziata (Na).
Roma Bene Comune mozione finale
L’assemblea nazionale realizzata a partire dall’appello proposto da Roma Bene Comune, che si è tenuta oggi 10 settembre 2011, ha raccolto nella struttura dell’ex deposito Atac di San Paolo a Roma una partecipazione che non si vedeva da tempo di collettivi, associazioni, movimenti, realtà del sindacalismo conflittuale e di base;
Ecco un esempio demenziale di cosa possa produrre la "disoccupazione"…
Sono mesi che non rispondiamo più a questa povera marionetta... però un paio di risate vorremmo farcele anche noi...

SUBJECT: SOLIDARITY SUPPORT FOR BERNS SALONGER DISPUTE – STOCKHOLM SWEDEN
There will be a mass demonstration outside the offices of London & Regional, 55 Baker Street, London W1U 8EW on Friday 17th September 2010 from 4-6pm . This follows a very successful mass demonstration on Friday 13th August. Since our action demonstrations in Sweden have go up to 4 times a week. We want Berns Salonger and their parent company London Regional to know we too are not going away. Please speak to your comrades, colleagues, fellow workers and friends and mark the date in your diary. Let’s all set aside the time to make this an even bigger and more successful demonstration.
SUMMARYOF DISPUTE:
London & Regional Properties owns the Berns Salonger company. Berns have a notorious record of mistreating cleaning staff. Cleaning staff work inhumane hours, sometimes up to 22 hours a day 7 days a week, sleeping on cardboard boxes in the workplace. Berns avoid responsibility for this mistreatment through the use of sub-contractors. The cleaners unions, the SAC in Sweden has been in fierce dispute with Berns since February of this year.
A message from the SAC reads:
"We write to you with a call for international solidarity. SAC in Sweden is involved in the biggest blockade struggle for at least the last ten years in Sweden. Hundreds of people have been involved in the picket lines two times a week since 26/2. The company that we are in conflict with is Berns Salonger, owned by the British concern London Regional. We beg of you to help us in this fight."
FOLLOW-UP ACTION ON MONDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER
Mass call in to the offices of London & Regional Properties at 2-3pm, Monday 20th September 2010. It is also requested that people phone after 3pm as well if they cannot do so earlier. Please tell London & Regional that you demand that Berns begin negotiations with the SAC union immediately to resolve the dispute. In addition please send emails to London & Regional on Monday 20th September as part of the call out, though the priority is the mass call in.

The Cleaners Defence Committee is a network of cleaners, workers and militants who have supported migrant workers in their struggles in London for fair treatment and a living wage.
